    TOO many meals??

    I find myself eating 8-9 meals a day now..I get up at 7 eat my first meal, and every couple hours through out the day I keep getting hungry so I eat a meal. just good protein, carbs coming from oats and brown rice, fats from 1 egg a day mixed with my whites and fats from flax/olive oil/natty pb...i am doing a clean bulk because I am going on vacation in less than a month and want to get some size and lean up...currently on phera plex as well...is this too much eating?

    Na man. As long as you're eating clean and your cals aren't outrageous, I don't see a problem with it. You are bulking. However, if you find yourself putting on a fair amount of fat, you'll have to tone it down a bit. You'll have to assess that one for yourself.

    I would try and even up my calories per meal as close as possible .. but sounds great... keep it up brother...

    i never did a clean bulk before..i feel bloated alot from eating so much...i drink tons of water, how can i feel bloated? i cook with some garlic salt on my chicken which i eat all day, but all that water shouldnt leave me feeling bloated...my stomach sticks out alot when i let it loose but its hard like im pregnant haha...i am going away to the carribean so i should technically be cutting hard core for the beach, but im on Phera Plex, i need the calories...

    I wouldnt worry about it unless you are putting on a bit of fat. Then you might need to tone it down a tad and up the cardio by a day or two a week.

    As to whether or not it's too much eating, that depends on what it all adds up to in relation to your goals and such.

    I personally eat 5-6 times a day, as any more than that just sets me up to fail as I may not be able to eat "on time" every single day when consuming 8-9 meals per day.

    So you suggest doing it the same everyday SC rather than some days getting more meals in than others?

    I don't see why one would eat more meals on certain days.

    Is there a reason as to why?

    Yea, somedays I have more time to fit more calories in so I will eat an extra meal or two. Depends on my schedule and appointments if I have time to sit down and eat at certain times.
    Ex. Mon,Wed,Fri take in 5meals 4800 cal
    Tues, Thurs 5200 6-7meals.

    Ahhhh, if one is bulking or trying to add weight then I suppose so.

    Dunno, I'm just a rigid "schedule" type of person.

    lol, yea it's off season and I don't see any comps in my near future. Shooting for mass on as clean as diet as possible. I just didn't know if when bulking you tried to get as close to the same calorie count each day.

    I have one more meal on training days (7) than I do on non-training (6) days. It is my PWO shake.
