    Whey Shakes VS Whole Protein

I tried to make a search to see why many of you guys insist that the body prefers whole food rather than supplements.

I have read that whey protein has the highest BV value than any other protein source so that makes it the best protein source. Doesn't it?

Can someone please explain this to me. regards

whole food keeps your metabolism running properly...and different protein sources such as beef have minerals that other sources do not..

Well ok i agree that whole food has more vitamins than supplements but what do you mean when you say that whole food keeps your metabolism running properly. Supplements are powdered food. Dont they still keep your metabolism running?

This is true...so your body doesnt have to work to put it in your system...but it does with chicken etc...its kinda like the difference between driving in a car and walking to your destination...which one is going to get your metabolism going more?

And he is correct this is a main benefit of whole foods. Also whole foods offer far more in the way of satiety, because it takes much longer to digest them. Which also gives you the benefit of a constant flow of Amino's in the blood stream, which also.......Etc.....You get the food. Whole foods will always be supierior.
