Protein before cardio????
Should i take a sccop of whey or two before it do my morning cardio to combat catabolism or not? i was under the impression that it is a good idea but recently a friend has tried to steer me away from it......what do you guys do/think?

Unless you feel like burning your protein shake for fun, it's not a good idea. If you do low intensity cardio on an empty stomach, LBM loss will be kept to a minimum (if any).

Have some water and drop in 5g of Glutamine. That should work.

only bcaas...imo no shake pre cardio..this is what i have done, and i have lost minimal stength and muscle on my current precontest diet and im in week 12

anything you eat will be used as fuel. you're better off lowering your heart rate just a tad if you are worried about LBM loss. go at 60% if you are concerned. eat those aminos afterwards. thn about 20 minutes later have your first meal.
