    check this diet please

    ok.... stats are for a 46 yo male, 245lbs, 5'10" around 22-30%bf

    ok.... his maitnance caloric intake is 2800...
    meal 1
    2 eggs 3oz t-bone 1/2 cup oatmeal
    meal 2
    side green vegitable 3oz t-bone or 6oz chicken or 3oz fish/ 1/2 cup tuna
    meal 3
    same as above, with option of baked potatoe as well as green vegi
    meal 4
    same as above
    30-60 min cardio. 75% mhr
    meal 5
    same as above plus 1/2 cup rice white or brown
    meal 6
    same as above
    the cal break down is
    total t-bone 2654 chicken 2354 fish 2199

    That approach, to me anyhow, isn't ideal at all for cutting OR bulking. What is the goal anyhow?

    Who is this diet for? You? I saw your question about amount of protein in a shake (vague), and then I see this here, so I'm curious as to what the goals are and who they are for.

    Back tomorrow if I'm not swamped as is the usual.

    the diet is for my dad. hes trying to get down to 200lbs. tell me what needs to be changed and ill do it. i respect your guys opinion....

    meal 2
    side green vegitable 3oz t-bone or 6oz chicken or 3oz fish/ 1/2 cup tuna
    meal 3 stick to the chicken, make the veggies 6 oz
    same as above, with option of baked potatoe as well as green vegi
    meal 4 take out the potatoe, add some flaxe seed oil
    same as above
    30-60 min cardio. 75% mhr push this about 2.5 hrs after the last meal, or do it in the morning (early) on empty stomach for better results
    meal 5
    same as above plus 1/2 cup rice white or brown no white rice, brown is ok but sweet potatoe is a better choice
    meal 6
    same as above make this a lean chicken breast and 6 oz veggies
    the cal break down is
    total t-bone 2654 chicken 2354 fish 2199

    hes not lifting any weights. just cardio.... i tried to base it off the cutting diet. but since hes not lifting i removed the shake. not sure what elce to do

    any other suggestions? remember, just cardio... not lifting weights... and take his age into account...
