Diet Help (rate)
Current Stats are 5'10 145lbs, low body fat% (not sure on exacts). Been training for about 6 months now, started focusing on eating about 3 months ago. Looking to build lean muscle for a cut look, not bulk look.
10:00 AM Meal 1
Oatmeal + Cytogainer Shake
12:00 AM Meal 2
Lean Ground Beef Hamburger + culliflower (some days, brocolli or potatoes)
2:00 PM Meal 3
Peanut Butter on White Bread + can of raviolie (should probably replace this?)
3:00 PM WORKOUT
4:00-5:00PM
CellMass followed 30mins later by Synergistic Nutrition Protein Shake
7:00PM
SKinless Boneless Chicken Breast on the george forman + Uncle Bens Spanish Ready Rice
9:00PM
Ham sandwich on white bread
11:00PM
Cytogainer Shake before bed.
Im currently looking at adding in another chicken breast into the meal plan, however foods burning a hole in my pocket.

Peanut Butter on White Bread + can of raviolie (should probably replace this?) (Yes you probably should replace that, white bread + peanut butter is terrible for a cut, or a bulk for that matter, all that peanut butter is going to your ass. Try a chicken breast+brown rice or other low GI carb)
3:00 PM WORKOUT
4:00-5:00PM
CellMass followed 30mins later by Synergistic Nutrition Protein Shake (Don't know whats in these shakes but you aiming for 40gWhey/80g dex)
7:00PM
SKinless Boneless Chicken Breast on the george forman + Uncle Bens Spanish Ready Rice (Ok...but that ready rice has tons of preservatives/bullshit, its not the best stuff, replace with home made rice if you can)
9:00PM
Ham sandwich on white bread (Should stay away from the carbs this late a night, ham lunch meat isn't the best protein source either. Go with a steak/fish + veggies)
11:00PM
Cytogainer Shake before bed. (Again dunno whats in the cytogainer...but a slow burning protein like casein or cottage cheese would be best)

PS Try getting your calorie totals figured out and post them, as thats very important to figuring out your goals. At 5'10 145lbs you should really be looking to bulk. I know your not looking for the "bulky" look, but believe me another 20lbs of muscle on you would not look "bulky".

maybe Ill get some of the canned chicken that everyones talking about. Fish/Tuna isnt an option.
Both shakes (cytogainer and protein) are just mixed with water. The Cytogainer is 150G, 570cals, 6g fat, 3.5g saturated fat, 75g carbohydrates, 7g sugar and 54g of protein.
is there anywhere I can find dextrose besides online? Anyone know of a store to get some?

Also, bro... get your macros posted up and I'll look over your diet.
Use fitday.com or calorieking.com to figure out how much protein/fat/carbs every meal has and then total them for the day.
Don't worry about calories too much, macros are calories but more precise.
Also, read every post at the top of the forum labeled important. Those will help a lot. These are known as stickies. MEMORIZE THEM. I'm damn near serious about this.... they are very important and you are lacking some important principles outlined in the How To BULK sticky.
Your diet needs a lot of work, but if you put in the work with getting up the macros, I will be happy to help.
Also.... buy your chicken in bulk and cook it in bulk. Boneless skinless chicken breasts. Cheaper than cans. Buy the cheapest tuna you can buy. 50 cents a can or less. It won't get much cheaper than that for protein.
Call around and get your oatmeal in 25 lbs bags. Again, won't get cheaper than that. Many of us are poor on here, but you find ways to get by.
If your bent for cash, then lose the cell mass! It is a good supp, but food is much much much much more important than cell mass. Use it later when you're a little bigger and gains are harder to come by.
Also, lose the cytogainer and substitute oatmeal. This will save you money as well. That shit is expensive and not the best food choice. Oatmeal mixed with whey won't taste as good but will be much cheaper and more advantageous for growth.
Supplementmarket . c o m without the spaces has dymatize elite protein. It is very good and VERY cheap. This is the only supplement you need.
Please post up those macros and I will help you get this worked out tomorrow when I have more time.
Glad to see you have found the diet forum. You will be able to put on some major!! weight from what you are weighing now.

This is the how to bulk sticky... when you post up your revised diet, it should look similar to this.
I'd say use like 250 g protein 300 g carbs 75 g fat
You will grow like a weed.

Last thought... lose the uncle Ben's spanish rice
That shit is unnecessarily expensive, just buy some bags of white rice (or brown if you like it) and cook it in bulk.

Heres my problem, Im lazy. This definitly hurts my dieting, however not so much my workouts. The Uncle Bens rice is fast and tastes good, I cant imagine making regular rice and storing it for later use.
Youve SAID TO LOSE the cytogainer and replace it with outmeal, however its hard to get the calories and protein as well as carbs out of oatmeal. I just take it to start my days as well as something to take to sleep on so my body doesnt eat itself. I have VERY fast metoabolism.
The major problem I have is financial. I live in a fraternity house that beds two students. Because of recent fire marshall standards I can only hVE 1 small fridge with freezer. Buying in bulk is not an option.
I probably wont use cellmass again, ill switch to a simple creatine when ive run out. this should save me money.
i will try to figure out my macros and re-read the stickys tommrow when im sober.

Drinking is also going to fvck your gains big time. It all depends how serious you are.
