    diet on cutting cycle

    hey everyone..

    couple of quick questions re: my cutting diet while "on" (prop + winny)

    1. when cutting i usually have ~ 3-4 pro/fat and 2-3 pro/carb meals during the day. This is the first time however i'm actually "ON" and cutting. should I actually increase the pro/carb meals b/c i'm on or are many pro-fat meals still ok while cutting and on cycle?

    2. also, subquestion I guess... do you folks train differently while cutting and on cycle? i usually train a little different in terms of how heavy i go, reps , sets etc. but again since i'm on cycle here and can maybe still heave the heavier weights, should I adjust training style and maybe lessen intensity in terms of poundage and reps?

    Well on a cut Ill stick to 2 carb meals, one pre-workout and one post-workout(shake 40-80 ratio). If I know im going to have a long day, ill have a 3rd pro/carb in the morning (oats/eggs). Stick to 6 meals 300-400 cals in each roughly depending on how much you need. Cottage cheese before bed with some splenda and cinnamon is a great last meal for a pro fat.

    I usually lift the same when Im on a cut. Just train hard and youll be alright. This is another highly disputed arguement but, if you feel like upping your workout a bit throw in 20 min of cardio after you lift. Your heartrate should be up and you can get some extra fat burning done (It will make your shake taste that much better...BELIEVE ME!)

    I eat solely pro/carb throughout the day..maybe with a pro/fat thrown at the end. I've seen a lot better results with it than when I used to do 3 pro/carb (A.M., PWO, PPWO)

    You betcha. I remember when I first posted one of my diets IBD told me I didnt have enough fat in it, and I think someone else said the same. Boy was I happy when Pinnacle agreed and diest the same way I do. I take flax maybe once per day. I get enough good fats from my foods. I dont have protein shakes so I eat 7 meals consisting of red meat, chicken, eggs/whites, turkey, FISH FISH FISH (very good fat in fish) and the odd time pork. But usually 2-3 fish meals, 2 chicken meals, 1 turkey, 1 red meat and one egg and egg white meal.

    As for carbs it depends on goals and how much/how fast you wanna lose imo. I can cut down but not changing my diet much and just increasing cardio. But I would definitely include carbs in meal #1 and PWO meal AT LEAST.
