Casein protein sources superior to whey?
I've read SO much of this around the boards here. Whey is all they seem to have in stores around here. It seems that you absorb more of the protein in a Casein based mix?
This is my understanding based on everything I've read here, correct me if I'm wrong.
And if this is correct can someone direct me to a store, online or otherwise, where I can find this kind of Casein mix (shake)? I eat a lot of tuna, lean beef, chicken etc... (and virtually NO dairy by the way) - and it would be nice to have something at least effective to supplement with. I've been taking this whey crap religiously.
thx

..Casein is a slower digesting protein...It's good especially before sleeping or in between whole food meals....However, whey is better PWO....
..Casein isn't a necessity however...Many people get by on whey...
Casein is available @ ASN...
