    Diet Help

I need some help in setting up my cutting diet and training split. Currently I'm working a shift at work of Noon - 8 pm.

On a 9am-5pm shift, which im coming off of, I've always done my cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and followed it by a protein/fat meal, as not to effect lyposis. My weight training would be after work, immeadiately followed by a pwo shake with 50g protein/ 50g dex/ 50g malto.

Now, I think I'm gonna do both cardio and weight training in the am before work. Here's a rough draft of what I'll be doing:

    0730-0815 cardio
    0830 protein/fat meal
0930-1030 weight train (mwf 3 total body circuits, tts 3 total ab circuits)
    1045 pwo shake
1200 lean protein, low gi carb, fat
    1500 lean protein, veggie, fat
1800 lean protein, low gi carb, fat
    2100 lean protein, veggie

My concern is the lack of carb before my weight training. But, everything I read says not to have carbs after cardio. I've been laid up for about 8 months and have put a Hummer's spare tire around my stomach, so my main goal is to lose as much fat as I can.

So I guess what I'm asking is what do you cats think would be the ideal meal to eat in between cardio and weight training. This only a draft, ill post my stats and plan after ive figured out what the hell im gonna do.

    Stay cool!

well then add more carbs, and were the hell did you read not to have carbs after cardio, if your doing a.m cardio then you best be takeing down some carbs afterwards, egg whites and oats are great to take down or whey and oats.

I've read that alot in magazines and forums, and this one is from the guide to cutting thread:

also, a pro/ fat meal is best after cardio b/c it continues lyposis (fat burning)

    Is this true or false?

I have a pro/carb meal 45 min after my 1 hour of cardio every morning (oats/eggwhites) and have noticed excellent gains.

A pro/carb meal after cardio and before weightlifting, always gives me the energy I need to train properly.
