    Best PPWO choice...Yam.taters,rice or grits

Being the endo I am I try to stay away from HI GI stuff and I have been eating basmatti rice or grits but they are getting OLD fast.

I like yams. Too much fiber? If not what is a serving. I read that a 5x5 yam is 33 carbs and 125 calories, that would mean PPWo while cutting I need 1 /1/2 or 2 yams. Any thoughts.

PWO you really don't have to be concerned about the GI of foods. I find myself that higher gi works better for my and my clients anyhow. Grits are also pretty high Gi, and you are using those already. Endo/meso/ecto/whatever, doesn't matter as long as the amounts you eat are correct for your stature and goals.

i always go with oats PWO, and whole wheat pasta for PPWO. the rice for PPWO would be a great choice.

what are other higher GI carbs that i could go with other than grits..... I always thought grits were not a good choice but i learn new things everyday. I have always used sweet potatoes and brown rice for ppwo, but if i can get away w/ eating other stuff i will do that as well....

I have tried dex but it kills my stomach so I switched to oats and love em.

for PPWO i always use lower GI. i would stick with sweet potatoes and rice. however for PWO, you can go high GI, such as dex.
