My diet, need HELP! 21yrs old/175lbs/6'
Okay here is a quick run down of what I am eating right now.
7am- 1/2 box, or 8oz, of egg beaters and a 1/3 cup of oatmeal.
10:30am - 6-8oz lean chicken breast and 1/3 cup oatmeal (sometimes with all natty peanut butter (1tblspn)
1pm - 6-8oz lean chicken breast, 14oz green beans, 1/3 cup oatmeal.
5:30pm- 6-8oz lean chicken breast, 20oz fresh veggies, 1/3 cup oatemal.
7pm - workout/cardio
8:30pm - GNC MRP, 8oz egg beaters, 6-8oz lean chicken breast, 1/3 cup oatmeal.
11pm - 8oz egg beaters, 1/3 cup oatmeal.
3am - 8oz egg beaters, 1/3 cup oatmeal.
So, let me have it, how bad does my diet suck?
PS- I love my oatmeal, thats why I eat it all the time, I add a little chocolate fat free/sugar free pudding mix and damn it is good, like a desert after my protien!Last edited by blacklt1_ta; 08-02-2006 at 06:15 AM.

What exactly are you trying to do with this diet? I'm assuming bulking because of all the carbs. Haha I can see that you love your oatmeal...As a suggestion if you ever get tired of it try some brown rice or yams. Also where are the fats in this diet?? Try supplementing it with some efa's such as flax seed oil. Another good fat source is lean ground sirlion or lean ground turkey. Also in your meal that you have at 1030 don't mix macros i.e. dont mix a fat source (natty pb) witha carb source (oatmeal). Those are my suggestions hope that helps!

Unless I'm missing something this is only around 130 grams of carbs....

Yes very minimal carbs..You are going to get sick of oats so try some sweet potatoes or Brown Rice also. BTW don't be afraid of Carbs, try experimenting and see what works best for you.
