is a 60% carb, 25% protein 15% percent fats a perfect muscle building diet?
is a 60% carb, 25% protein 15% percent fats a perfect muscle building diet? Ive read where if u dont consume atleast 60% carbs in your diet, your muscles convert your muscles into Glucose (sugar) because you arent getting a 60/25/15 ratio. Remember your muscle arent mostly protein their mostly water.

ehh not the best deff if you're a Bodybuilder...Im training for something now..(20 mile bike rides, 2 mile swims, 12 mile runs etc....) and thats almost my break down
500-600 grams carbs
200-300grams pro
200grams fat
That break down is not good imo, you might as well follow the food pee-ramid you know??

I would never do that personally. Your muscles cannot just turn into sugar man lol.
I usually have carbs and protein at around the same value to be honest. In fact it would be a RARE occassion for the carbs to be higher than total protein in a day for me.

not sure mine. i eat 350g protein, and carbs are 525-650. depends on the day. fat is at 140g a day(mstly good) 65 mono, 25poly, 1 fish oil, 40 sat. i like thios. am 254 ls tho.

i know what works for me and its about a 45/40/15 ratio of pro/carb/fat.
