whey protein really worse than food
I try to get most of my nutrition from food but end up drinking shakes 2 days a day with 4 meals. Is this really going to limit gains? I have read here several times folks dont like whey. What is everyone experience? Getting down 300 grams a day without whey can be tough. Thanks.

can you post your diet? and i only use whey for PWO. it is so rapidly digested that i am hungry so soon after. chicken, beef, tuna, eggs, salmon, steak ect. use them and you can get your 300g.

imo it wont make any difference at all if 2 meals everyday are shakes or solid meals.

Sometimes, when I feel I might be going a little bit overboard with the whey intake (or indeed with shakes in general), I add some fiber to the shake just to let the tummy get something to work with. I have no idea if that's brilliantly clever or simply idiotic, but so far I've done a pretty impressive job at convincing myself that it works.
Come to think of it, I don't really see how this post was directly relevant to the subject, but then again I can't think of an instance when that has ever stopped me from butting into a discussion.
