    Need diet opinions

    Hi! I need some guidence. current Stats 36 6'0 202lbs 9.5% bf. Started my cutting diet 6 weeks ago. 208 lbs 15% bf. diet

    meal 1 8 egg whites 1/ 2 cup oats
    meal 2 1 can tuna veggies
    meal 3 chicken breast veggies
    meal 4 chicken breast veggies 1/4 brown rice
    meal 5 2 cans tuna veggies
    meal 6 1 can tuna
    2 table spoons flax

    training weights 5 days a week I hit 1 body part perday lifting heavy waiting 3to 5 minutes per set. flat bench max 315lbs 6 reps usually do 5 sets doing 12 reps 10, 8, 6, 10 always increasing weight as I go. Cardio 6 days a week 30 45 minutes. Ok my proplem should I be worried I'm not dropping more lbs? (First time really tring to get lean) I'm getting leaner but I'm not dropping lots of lbs. my diet is stricked just wondering if I'm on right track for success or is there something I should change. I'm not naturally lean. I have 1 cheat day per week. should I cut this to 1 meal or just continue on coarse. thanks for the help

    Welcome aboard! At some point, you're going to be asked to list the macros for each meal and their caloric values. But off hand, I'd say you're missing a few good sources of fat. Try to incorporate some almonds or some natty peanut butter in meal 3. But for the most part, good choices of whole foods. Also, what time of the day do you train? And what are you taking in post work out?

    I work out 3pm or 8pm every day. do weight training then cardio. pwo I live 10 minutes from home so I incorporate my carb meal as my pwo meal. using glutamine as sup. Can't eat nuts. thanks for the help

    your 200lbs and your only eating 60gms carbs?? I would bump that up. Whats your reason for eating so little carbs? Or why you would want to eat only 1600 cals at 9.5%...

    First time cutting. Using the cutting diet posted here. don't forget I get carbs from green veggies. I have never been cut before so I'm new. just trying to get lean.

    Hey Jim,

    The carbs seem a bit low. What veggies are you eating most carbs from veggies are not counted in one's diet becasue have 0 to little impact on blood sugar levels.

    It's a very extreme approach to cutting..How long do u plan to use this approach. The only that i see as a problem is .. ur at 9% with 60 grams of carbs... There is not much room to go lower. you get wat im trying to say.. Starting out higher then dropping to a low amount gives you more leway per se... Anyways congrats on the drop man!

    I'm only eating green. green beans cabage broc ect. ok my carbs are low what do you guys. what would you do?

    I think it would have been more productive to start with cals higher (and carbs) then decrease them every time your weight loss plateaus. If you start this low your gonna bottom out real quick and waste muscle.

    How long do u want to cut for it's hard to say ....you dropped 6% of body fat how low do u want to go?

    I would start at around 2800-3000 and have carbs at about 200 then work down from there slowly.

    add another 140g of carbs and then back ot off 10g per week? stupid question comming. won't this make me gain fat not reduce? sorry for the question ty for the help

    Dont you think it would set him backwards.. I mean he is there now i would up them a bit.. i think me and beast both agree the mistake here.. your dropped carbs/cals way toooo fast.. Now your stuck in a poistion where u can't really drop them lower per se.... I would say maybe 150 not sure exatcyl.

    good luck man... have u lost alot of muscle? if your goal is to get six i would stay around 150 or carb cycle a bit.. with ur current apporach

    ty. i actually gained a little muscle. i think my cheat days helped out i really loaded up lol ty for your help
