    Weightgainers? PWO

    I have two questions. Which weightgainers do you perfer our there and would it be a good idea to have that PWO instead of a regular whey shake since it has an a$$ load of calories?

    PWO you only want very fast absorbing protein and carbs and no fat because it will slow the digestion of everything else down. if the weightgainer fits that profile then go for it, but if i was looking for a weight gainer i would try to get something with complex carbs and of course a good protein source so it would be more useful through the day. also i would try to get as many meals as possible from whole food.

    Thanks for the info! I was actually just planning on taking the weightgainer in the PM right before bed.
