How many calories should I cut back on
I am 21 years old and am a full time college student. I used to play football for my university but got tired of it.Im 6ft 4in. and weigh 264lbs. My bodyfat is around 15-25%.I've been lifting since I was eleven, not non stop. I am currently lifting weights on Mon.,wed, fri and doing cardio on tue, thur, sat. I am trying to lose body fat. I currently weigh 264lbs and my goal weight is 225-235. I've never tried any cycles of anabolics but am willing. I want to reach my goal by May 18 when we start summer break. Todays date is the feb. 11. That gives me approximetly 4months or 16 weeks.
My calorie intake is based on judgement. I have cleaned up from eating sloppy and am eating clean meats and carbs. I judge my portions by comparing them to the size of my fist or smaller, this is how I judge my calorie intake. I would say I take in any where from 2500 to 3500 calories a day. My body is very sensitive to what I eat. I went on a high protien low carb diet where my only carbs came from fruit and vegetables. I went on that diet last summer and got down from 265 to 225lbs in about 2 months, but I was still left hungry sometimes. Most calorie calculators say that I can consume upwards of 3000 calories to maintane my weight.
My question is, how many calories should I cut back on to reach my weight loss goal of 30lbs in 16 weeks, with my calorie intake at about 3000 calories now. Or how many calorie should I be taking in. And maybe any advice on some cycles, or supps. legal or.Also dealing with hunger pains.Last edited by lookintogetbig; 02-10-2007 at 06:45 PM.
