    Beer Belly

    Although this is a stupid question, I always wondered what actually causes a beer belly? And why are bloated bellies usually associated to beer and not to other types of alcohol?

    Is it basically just the high caloric content of the drink or is there something else in beer that actually effects the gut?

    Note: Alcohol dehydrates you actually shedding some water retention.


    Keep in mind, this is just a question...I'm not promoting the use of alcohol in any way. (I believe your aware of its negative effects)
