If forced to do PM cardio...

If cardio cant be done in the am, should it be done after working out, or at night (about 10) after waiting a few hours after eating in order to try to imitate the empty stomach effect?

Im 19, 170 ibs, trying to lose BF.

as long as u get some cardio done i dont think it really matters. i do mine as a warm up for about 40-60 mins before lifting. i start my workout at noon.

you can do both if you train early enough. i would go for after 3 meals after your workout. nothing wrong with that at all. just get it done.

I think in some ways pwo cardio is better,

Ive been doing both but only 1-2 times a week am and only 1-2 times a week pwo on diff days each time for only 15-25 mins, and I get winded easier and feel like I worked harder after a solid hr of lifting.

most important thing is just get it done and dont wait till 10 youll jest get burnt out.

If you can't do it in the morning, then do it PWO, when glycogen stores are low (similar to the morning). Make sure you do not take your PWO shake until after cardio.

Theres a very high probability your body is catabolic after doing an intense lifting session and then doing cardio after that. I'd never do that or delay my postworkout shake that long. I'd rather come back 2 hours after a meal and do cardio.

If you're trying to loose BF then just do cardio whenever you can. AM cardio is over-rated anyway IMO.

PWO cardio has worked great for me during cutting. I do my workout on a full stomach then drink some BCAA (5g) then do my cardio, then drink the PWO shake.

I do almost the same for cutting, work out hard, then 45 min cardio, get a good HR going.

Just curious A&F, have you ever tried PWO cardio for an extended period of time or while dieting for a show? I used to think along the same lines as you until I starting trying it out, and through my experience I proved I was wrong over all this time under that belief. Idea sounds good on paper, but when put to real world experience, it just didn't pan out that way in my experience. But then again I am sure it depends on the person and on their metabolism etc...

NOTE: cardio at this time should be pretty low intensity....
Let me also add, that I train HIT style, so my workouts are fairly short, just with high intensity.

Yeah, I actually did the bike for 20 mins the last 2 weeks before my show after workouts... didn't like it as much, I was pretty paranoid about being catabolic. At that time I was also doing cardio in the AM on an empty stomach.

wow!! who are you to call out anyone looking like you do??

stick to your dbol only cycles and your 15 pounds of lean body mass gain in 3 weeks - complete bullshit buddy and i think i was the one to state that you werent gaining more than a half pound a day for 3 straight weeks. this shows your complete lack of knowledge so why not shut your mouth.

or please tell everyone how in 3 weeks on a 4000 calorie a day diet and low doses of dbol how you simultaneously lost fat and gained solid lbm.
