    PWO nutrition rant....

I have seen a lot of questions on PWO nutrition lately. People seem to be looking for a "magic bullet" to bring muscle growth. The point is if you spent more time looking at the biigger picture and less worrying about the small stuff you would grow, Sure PWO is important but the point is there is no perfect formula, everyone is different. See what works for you. And quit worrying about this kind of crap and worry about getting your whole diet to be consistent and healthy using a variety of foods. Really as long as you have Something for PWO then you are halfway there. If you think finding the perfect PWO combo is going to help you then I would suggest you are lacking in other areas such as 1. diet 2. rest 3. training.
Consuming the perfect PWO drink then going on the piss and eating Mcdonalds all weekend will not build muscle!!! However you could eat a jam sanwich for PWO and as long as your diet and training is spot on you WILL grow,

I agree Beast. Lately I've been skipping the shake and going directly home and eating a pre-prepared whole food meal with a mix of macros until I'm totally stuffed and it always makes me feel GREAT.

I've eaten white bread and jelly on many occasions for PWO.. agreed your diet as a whole is what counts.

Agreed. I think it just takes people a while to figure out what works for them. A lot of the time, they can't do it for themselves so they want others to figure it out for them. Honestly, of all the different methods I've used PWO, I don't notice a difference in any of them. No matter what, I still grow pretty consistently. Now manipulating the diet, that will yield some changes.

    thank you about time.
i think another thing, go with what you believe works for you.
dont read for hours and confuse the shit out of yourself.
    then ask more questions.
you will never end up finding the answers you want.
    Gain muscle = diet/training/resting.
and you should be all set.

OK, so it seems that there is a consensus of opinion on the use of jam sandwiches PWO, so...

    (1) Is white or brown bread better?

    (2) Will any jam do? I like strawberry

    (3) Can I add PB or will the fat slow absorption?

    (4) How many pounds of lbm can I expect to gain on an 8 week jam sandwich cycle?
