    hard to gain weight now

    ive been eating 4000 cals or more a day for 5 weeks now and lost 2 lbs!! i dont know what the deal is....im 6'1 225 right now, after i cut down to this weight from 255. Do I need more food or what? I dont eat any junk either and i dont want to dirty bulk.... and i only do 2 days of cardio a week(30 min)

    STOP USING AN F_)ING SCALE.

    it will only fck with your mind, go by how your clothing fits you, and by how you look in the mirror. if you try to bulk using a scale you'll only get fat.

    your mass dosent come on a steady rate. you'll stay the same and then boom, 5lbs out of now where, (i know it contradicting to say that, just making a point)

    if you've acuratley added up your macro's and your getting in enough protein vs what you do for recreation/job. then you will gain muscle over time.

    get off that scale dude, its not going to tell you anything....

    your gaining muscle you just dont see it on the scale ..
    look in mirror you will know if you are losing muscle size.

    i eat 7 meals per day with roughly 60 carbs per meal

    well, i know from experience scales will f*ck with your head. Get a bodyfat measurment... maybe you lost some fat but filled it in with muscle... who knows? Sounds like everything is in check for ya....

    Great advice MFT, your diet seems fine. Maybe you are being impatient, maybe it is your training...but not your diet. How many times do you workout per week...should be 3-4 times per week, 5 days a week is to often in my opinion.

    I got the same situation like yours except perhaps that I'm on deca and test e. my goal is increase weight and enhance muscle definations but it seems I'm getting leanier and leanier.
