The message board is for questions and responses, thats the reason I made the threads is to ask questions and get responses, if I have a question or something I'd like to know, I'll post a thread, no one makes ya read 'em. Thanks for the input for those who answer my question.

Thats where the message board comes in and I'm researching the subject, before running this "shitty cycle."

Wigmam, your questions are redundant and have been answered a million times before. If you feel that members here are being hard on you, then maybe you should rethink your way of getting information. Id advise you to stop posting thread after thread and take some time to research this site. Use the search button and read the stickies.

Thanks for your input, I'll take it into consideration, until then, I still wish for people to add their inputs to the actual questions I have posted instead of other things.

Why not just go with diet? Zero calories and similar taste.

I didn't know if it was the calories in cola, or some of the acids and such in there that made it so bad. I would be fine with diet, if that isn't as bad.

haha, yeah i wasn't thinking when i used the word c o ke for soft drinks..lol..I appreciate all the info, I've just cut it completely from my diet, had 2 can doctor peppers in the past week, and that should be it for a long while. I've switched to drinking lots of milk, which I hear is looked down upon by some people, but a lot of the info i found on here is okay with milk. Also using lots of water. Also, I mix my protein shakes with milk, but it says also good with water, anyone in here mix their (chocolate) whey protein with water and is it as good?? I'm sure its easier to take to the gym than milk in a container.

Wigwam straight and to the point without flaming should be all the info you need. Diet coke contains phenylalanine, a chemical that breaks down into a few harmless other chemicals, and one bad one, an aldehyde. Think "Formeldehyde." Aldehydes are hydrocarbon preservatives, meaning they will literally tighten your fat cells, thus preventing a tight, onion skin like cut. Your best bet is to avoid anything with artificial sweetner. You'd be better off drinking in the sugar or a can of regular soda IMHO. if you need something sweet, and ketosis isn't a big deal to you, any high quality juice, or even fitness water will hit the spot. I'm not sure if the new splenda diet sodas contain phenylalanine. by law, it must say on the packaging.
