    Plateau reached, any ideas now

I have been working out for 2 months now on a high protein low carb (less then 20-30 grams a day) diet. I am 6'2" and 228pds right now, my scale says im 28% body fat, but im pretty sure im not that high when i can see my veins in my legs and shoulders, etc. Anyways, i went from as high as 288 2 yearsa ago, to 256 in spring, to now about 228. I have been taking some M1T with thermigenics, and some clen when i was between m1t cycles. My workouts are 4 days a week and my cardio is at least 5 days a week and usually about an hours of cardio a day (split into 2 - 30 minute routines).
I am currently on a high protein, moderate carb (no more then 40-50 grams of carbs) and still working out and doing cardio but my fat loss has stalled. Its the comon area of the gut and love handles that i am having troubles with. My protein consists of red meat (mostly lean), chciken, egg/whites, turkey, whey shakes, etc. Carbs are limited to some veggies, a bit of oatmeal, and the odd spoonful of low fat peanut butter)
So I have a few quesitons:
    1) Would increasing my carbs help or hinder my weight loss at this point.
    2) I am thinkning about taking some winny i got with some primo to help cut.

Any help would be great, if nothign works in the next 6 weeks I am looking at going on some gh to help get rid of the a**ominal fat.

Thanks for any advie u can give.

ps---I cannot eat tuna without puking anymore so dont say eat more tuna.

    Eat more tuna! j/k

Ok, well give us some more info. What is your current diet and what are the totals? I would have kept carbs high to start with, remember they aid in the repair process even on the days you do not workout. Carbs are essential and cutting them out only hinders oneself.

And I would not think about AAS just yet, remember AAS does not magically burn fat, diet and cardio do.

So lets have a look at the ol' diet and see what we can do.

I drink plenty of water (3L min a day, a diet pop, and some crystal light)

    An average day:
6:30am - Meal 1 - Protein Shake (No time to eat)
    9:30am - Meal 2 - Protein (Steak, chicken, turkey,lean ground beef)/ Veggies
12:00 pm - Workout with weights and 30 min cardio
    1:00pm - Meal 3 - Protein shake/Oatmeal
    3:30pm - Meal 4 - Protein (Steak, chicken, turkey, lean ground beef)/Veggies
    5:30pm - Cardio (Minimum 30 minutes)
6:30 pm - Meal 5 - Protein (Steak, chicken, turkey, or lean ground beef) with Salad or veggies.
8:00pm ish - Usually 2 tablespoons of peanut butter to curb the hunger, or sugar free feezies.

Sometimes i either substitute or add almonds or some other nut while im at work for my Meal 2 or 4. I also subsitute in all kinds of different lean protein, and veggies for my Protein/veggy meals with snacks such as lean beef jerkey/lean turkey peperoni sticks. But I still eat little carbs, and the odd day i splurge on an oatmeal bar. I also have started having a cheat meal once per week, but sometimes feel too guilty so i do not do it every week. I also average about hrs of sleep.

I take my multi-vitamins (extra b/c), my green tea extract, fat burners, flax oil, creatine only on my rest time from other things (M1T). I have laid off the fat burners for a bit of a rest since all the caffeine/effedrine weas giving me burning in my chest from the acid. That and i could take caffeine and effedrine and go to sleep right after taking it as it seems to have no effect on me anymore.

Is there anyhting I am missing from trying to cut peoperly. And wont taking some winny/primo or help aid int he fdat loss. I;ve heard alot about hgh and its fat bruing capabilities. Or how much longer would you give my current routine or change ti up to brea out of my current slump.

Ok, to maintain your current weight of 228lbs you roughly need 3,320kCals a day.

Now add up the total of your current diet and post it up and we can go from there.

And this "no time to eat" is nothing more than an excuse, trust me. If you wan it bad enough, you WILL find a way to get it done.

    Mostly agree with Muri.

You should figure out how much you are eating exactly. Throwing a medicine cabinet at the issue is not always the best idea....

    Sometimes its as "crazy" as:

"You are not losing weight because you are eating too much."

Eating too much is defitnately not the problem, theres some days when Im sure im under 2500 calories and under 10 grmas of carbs with about 15g of fat. So eating to much is defiantley not the preoblem.

ion the average day I would say i consume 3000 or less calories.

ok first change your attitude. you need to have a hard work ethic or you are just going to waste your money on pointless additions, which seems to be what you're doing to begin with. clen - not needed at this point. MIT - not needed at this point. GH not needed... ect ect.

you should be doing an hour of cardio on empty for 60 minutes EVERY SINGLE MORNINg without fail. prove to yourself you can do that for two weeks and then add a 30 minute session immediately before your last meal. keep your calories up as well as your carbs. the reason you arent seeing results is because as you lose fat you are losing muscle. keep the cals up at your LBM maintenance.

leave your ego out of this battle and you will succeed. don't worry about you bf now. go strictly by a mirror. i think you can do it, but you need to make modifications and really starting cutting.

And you wonder why results are not coming in?

Its your choice of foods or lack of that are killing you. 15g Fat is not gonna cut it, you need fat to lose fat. But with that diet you popsted you are getting alot more than 15g

And why have you not totaled it up yet?

Since everyone always complains about how easy that is, good luck to you

if you eat completely clean you can live life without doing cardio and lose fat... but you should be doing cardio so just imagine how much fat you should lose with a clean diet with cardio, your diet is off revise

So assuming I take a shake before bed tonight here are my days totals today:

    Calories: 2575
    Protein: 225
    Carbs: 32
Fat:30 (not including the flax oil i take)

I am also already (for 6 weeks now) been doing at least 60 minutes of cardio a day.

As for the ego thing,um ya no. I have no life with work, working out and cardio twice a day with cooking in between and trying to get enough sleep. I am putting the right attitude towards this. I was pretty much asking as I have gotten even more strict with my diet and exercise, but my main goal here with this post was to try and cut witghout losing muscle too much. I have dropped as much as 54 pds in 3 months (and yes i know muscle) and i have gained as much as 23 pds in 1 month. I just want to lose as much weight without losing to much muscle, and thats where the AS can help in that terms. But i appreciate all the help.
