Am I eating enough?
Lately, folks, I have been waking in the morning very hungry like I have never eaten anything the day before. It makes me wonder whether I should increase my eating habit or there something special going on.
For, instance, lets take a look at my eating cycle for yesterday. after I woke up in the morning around 6:30 am, I had bowl of oatmeal and small glass of milk and took off to work. Around 11:00am I had one double whopper and some small fries, ok. Around 4:00 pm I had breast roasted chicken and some salad after 30min workout, of- course every meal was followed by beverage drink. And at night Around 11:00pm I had couple slices of pizza and few wings and then I went to bed afterward.
But at 6 o'clock in the morning when I woke I'm extremely hungry like I have never eaten anything the whole of yeasterday. As I said I don't know what's going on in my digestive system whether I'm eating less or there is something else?
I suppose I should say Im in wk 9 of deca and test e cycle.
Thanks for responses.Last edited by S431M7; 08-17-2007 at 09:49 AM.

Gear can make one insatiable. How many calories do you consume a day? Is this average? How many maintenance calories do you need? Are you eating enough to grow, i.e. exceeding maintenance levels, but still hungry?
Also, your diet and eating schedule is very unusual.Last edited by m8intl; 08-16-2007 at 09:00 PM.

That diet is horrendous, you really need to start reading the stickies. For your own good. The food choices are poor the time between meals is to much and you are using AAS.
of- course every meal was followed by beverage drink

Look at this diet plan from one of the stickies above, it doesn't look nutritious to me, shakes, shakes, shakes, I think I'm one of those who get fed up with shakes on daily basis
Meal 1: Pro/Carb
8 Egg Whites, 1 Scoop Of Whey Protein, 1 cup oatmeal
50g protein / 54g carbs / 5g fat
Meal 2: Pro/Fat
Lean Ground Beef, ¼ cup swiss cheese, green veggies
55g protein / 2g carbs / 20g fat
Meal 3: Pro/Carb
Chicken Breast, 1 and a half cup Brown Rice
55g protein / 64g carbs / 3g Fat
**Disclaimer: Meal 3 can be a pro/fat meal if you are ultra sensitive to carb intake.
Meal 4: Pro/Fat
2 Cans of Tuna, 1 Tbsp Full Fat Mayonnaise, Veggies
60g protein / 2g carbs / 13g Fat
Meal 5: PWO Nutrition
2 Scoops Whey Protein / 80g of Dextrose
40g protein / 80g carbs / 0g fat
Meal 6: PPWO
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, ½ cup Brown Rice (Measured Uncooked)
50g protein / 70g carbs / 3g fat
Meal 7: Pro/Fat
Lean Protein of your choice, 2 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
50g protein / 5g carbs / 18g fat
Meal 8: Before Bed
3 Scoops of Whey Protein , 1.5 Tbsp. Flax Seed Oil

yeah i can understand what you mean..but i mean i assume you paid quite a bit for your gear...i mean its not cheap..so u need to dedicate yourself for the best results... my personal diet while on gear is basically clean and designed for lean mass...it goes kinda like this.
breakfast
low sugar oatmeal (2 packets)
1 glass skim milk with 2 scoops whey
snack
turkey sandwich on 1 slice whole wheat bread (folded over)
lunch
grilled chicken ceaser salad with no croutons or cheese
snack
1 grilled chicken breast and brown rice
work out
then 2 scoops whey and id eat a bowl of cereal with skim about 50 grams protien and 50 carbs
then whatever else i ate from then on out was just meat and veges.. no carbs
that worked good for me..

Shakes don't look too nutritious to you? Alright, understandable...I fully agree whole foods are better for meals; however, if you're concerned with nutritious foods, a double whopper (no cheese):
Nutrition Facts
Calories 900

Total Fat 57 g 88%
Sat. Fat 19 g 95%
Trans Fat 2 g

Total Carbs. 51 g 17%
Dietary Fiber 3 g 12%
Sugars 11 g

Your diet needs a little work, bro. Your gains will be even better with proper a proper meal plan.

You guys missed my point. I wasn't asking for a diet plan here or ..how to mirror my eating habit to what dietician recommended here. I was basically asking why do I feel extremely hungry in the morning after having a good solid meal the previous day. I'm not interested ony any diet lectures. Apparently all of u rush to criticsm withouting understanding the question I posted. I feel sorry for some u and that's why I didn't bother to reply to some of the unfounded criticism some u posted it here. But of 10 members responcses, only one person clearly answered my question: Gear can make one insatiable.

double whoppers and fries?! pizza and wings?! is that you Lee Priest?! like previously stated, your diet and diet schedule suck. no pwo shake and no carbs in your pwo meal, wendy's and pizzahut, nuff said there, huge gaps between meals and your breakfast has no significant protein source.

8 oz eye round steak
2 cups veggies
#4 pre workout
10 oz tilapia
2/3 cup oats
2tbsp jam (no sugar added)
#5 PWO
10 oz tilapia
1 sweet potato
#6
8 oz chicken
1/2 cup oats
1 cup veggies
1/2 tbsp hemp oil
If you are eating whoppers and pizza you have no will power. Cuz at that point its not lack of knowledge, anyone in their right mind knows pizza and fast food are NOT good for anyone. And for someone trying to be healthy and build muscle its just terrible.

well my pwo is a meal and then i goto bed.. i never ever hardly ever drink shakes after working out.. unless i fasted before i trained which is idiotic.. preworkout nutrition is just as important as post and if u consumed proper macros before hand u shudnt really have to worry bout going into a depleted catabolic state as ur body shud have plenty of reserves to make what it needs, therefore a pwo meal can be even more effective than a shake. especially when one is dieting for it keeps ur metabolic rate at a higher state than a stupid shake.
