Diet critique
Hey guys Here is the diet that I'm going to be doing and i was wondering what you all think of it...
Stats
Age 22
Height 5'11"
weight190
bf 11%
Meal 1 8:00am
1/2 cup oatmeal
5 egg whites + 1 whole egg
Snack 10:00am
protein shake 1 1/2 scoops
1 cup pineapple
Meal 2 12:30am
6oz. turkey or chicken
1/2 cup rice
Snack 3:00pm
protein shake 1 1/2 scoops
1 cup pineapple
Meal 3 6:00pm
4 oz. potato
6 oz. turkey, chicken, or fish
1 cup green beans
Snack 9:00pm(optional)
protein shake 1 1/2 scoops
1 cup frozen strawberries

Well looks nice and clean. But have you ever tried to count calories.
I doubt that your trying to cut. And where’s the workout between those meals?
Here’s a rough count of home many calories you eat:
Meal 1. 250 cals for breakfast. (if you don't use sweetener in oats)
snack 250
Meal 2. 450
snack 250
Meal 2. about 450
snack 250 (if your lucky)
Thant adds up to: 1900.
If that doesn't tell you nothing. Average girl should eat about 2000 cals a day. A man 2500cals.
You should eat at least twice as much and try to swap those shakes with real food.

that would be a great cut diet except a lot of sugar from the fruit i think

Ya thats exactly how i feel. It is a cutting diet, problem is the pineapple. And i know that i'm all low on my cals. So far i haven't noticed any muscle loss. So what do you guys think? Its hard to get in real meals in place of the protein drinks other wise i would. Should i Just up the dose on my protein drinks to 2scoops and maybe cut back the pineapple to half a cup? and maybe increase the portion of meat to maybe 8oz. what do you all think?

Overall pretty clean but it is missing a lot of things. Here is a couple things is would change if it were my diet.
-Increase the amount of eggs in the morning or add scoop of Whey.
-I would cut the fruit out and add healthy fats like almonds with the Whey. If you want to eat fruit, eat it in the morning to replace liver glycogen.
-Need to add more vegetables brother, this will stabalize your insulin levels by slowing down digestions throughout the day. (broccoli is great)
There are a couple other things but here is a start. Hope everything works out man!!

also try to eat atleast 6 meals a day instead of 4
