Post workout meal
I do most of my workouts during the afternoon. I have the luxury of having my girlfriend work at a sushi bar, so after most workouts, i go pig out on sushi. Im wondering about the benefit of raw fish, and if this post workout meal is good enough...
1 cup white rice
1 order of edamame (~ 20-30 pods)
4 pieces of assorted sashimi (usually 2 types of tuna, salmon, white fish)
2-3 cups miso soup
5 pieces of either albacore or kihada tuna
Should I also be drinking a shake when i get home after eating? Any suggestions?

Well you dont give a breakdown as to how much carbs, fats and protein you are getting so it's hard to really say. Also without knowing your goals, stats and like I said the macro breakdown this is a VERY hard question to answer.
Personally I would not have a shake AFTER a meal though, if you wanna have PWO shake than do it right away and eat after. Not the other way around imo.
Also, sushi would not be my PWO meal of choice, protein is probably too low in relation to the carbs. Rice itself is great PWO and so is fish. But that carb to protein ratio in sushi is too high im guessing.

I'd go back to the bar and eat more free sushi. Repeat every 2-3 hrs.
