Macro Ratios to Cut or for Lean Mass
I've read varying macro ratios for cutting and lean mass diets. In the bulking diet sticky, the cutting ratios at the bottom of the Harris Benedict Excel Calculator are 55% protein, 15% carbohydrate, and 35% fat. That sounds like the fat and carbs were reversed to me. Do you agree? I posted a diet recently and 40% protein, 40% carbohydrate, and 20% fat were recommended to me for cutting/lean mass ratios. I'm confused. I'm an endurance athlete currently doing weight training, 5'8" and weigh 138 Lbs with a 30" waist: that's 13% body fat per the active.com body fat calculator. What kind of macro ratios are you using for a cutting or lean mass diet?

You are going to need more carbs then most of us here who are bodybuilders. You should just decrease your carbs a little and see how it goes so as not to impact your athletic activities.
The macros are right, but not intended for an endurance athlete. I eat even lower carbs than that when cutting.
