Bulking Diet Thoughts please.
Currently Im looking to gain 2 pounds per week in this 12 week period.
Im 5'8 180 currently
based on this protein is 1.72g per pound, Now I know I can go down on the protein to at least 1.5.
Id like to keep it at 50% carbs 20% fat 30% protein
Last week I was at 3000 Calories and gained 1 pound, So im upping this by 500-600 cals.
This is pretty much my diet
Thoughts and comments are welcomed.
Also taking Beta-alanine, and its working awesome

are u on cycle bro? if not then 2lbs a week is to much to gain and will mostly be fat. i stay stick with 1lb a week and see what ur bf% is after a few weeks. need some more EFA's to bro.
p.s. isopure is expensive. if u need a cheap dollar good protein source pm me.

A good idea.. is too switch up the amount of calories you eat in a day..
Eat a little bit less one day, than eat more than next day, than over ea the third day.. than back down to a lil less...
supposedly keeps your body from adjusting the metabolic rate.

try eating some eggs with your first meal instead of the shake...
and some penut butter for some natty fats instead of your third shake...

Cycle injections no, pro hormones that are working yes.
I only have 3 shakes in the day, For the morning I have 7 egg whites and 25 g whey for fast absorption due to just waking up.
Then pre and post workout.
Eggs you mean whole eggs including the yolk?
I could add 4oz Bison + brown rice pre workout.
EFA's I do take 2 Fish oil caps with breakfast + the fat that is in bison, granted its not om eg as 3 6 or 9.
Third shake is post workout, Id like to keep my fats at about 20%, Currently I do have almonds in my bag 9 of them =170 cal 15g fat 5 carbs 7 protein
I have 1 cheat day and that is after I weigh myself, same day and time every week.
I could swap the bison for chicken breast, the bison has some fat in it, I could drop the bison, add chicken breast, then add almonds or natty peanut butter
I am trying to bulk up before a show in june or july, I have abuot 10 weeks left of bulking.
Currently on
Code:Creatine monohydrate + beta-Alanine + JW +PA + VLD + milk thistle 300mg
So far I went from 170 to 179 as of saturday and my strength in everything went up and endurance and reps are kicking ass.

You gained 9lbs naturally in 1 week, using a supplement.. and you are not a newbie obviously, cause you mention u compete..
hmm
Not too doubt you bro, but I'd believe it more if u mentioned you did not eat the whole previous week before starting this ALR supplement.

Read up that link on Beta-Alainain.. and when that person mentioning tingling of the body..
That reminded me of my Niacin experiments when i was younger...
upon further research.. BAM! there it is its one of the ingredients..haha
I used to play tricks on my friends with Niacin... what good fun that was.

Correct the same week i started all this is the same week my entire diet changed over.
The previous week i was doing about 2000 calories trying to drop weight. went from 185 to 170.
To be honest I think the weight has to do with the creatine as I am past the preloading phase and also what im taking, not 9 pounds just from ALRI products.
Yeh that itchy feeling sucked balls, im like wtf my ears.

just checked out the site where u calculated your diet (Fitday.com). I have never seen it before, what a great site! Now I can start up my diet!

Yeh good stuff,I jsut manually enter all my nutrion data in and weigh my meats if they dont have nutriton data and rice and use there data. Pretty darn close to US gov

Well this week I gained 1/2 pound consuming 3500 calories a day.
at 179.5 looking still cut a bit.
This week I will be doing 4100 and see where it gets me.

Your eating a meal aprox. every 3hrs right?? Why dont you snack on something in between? Maybe some peanuts, almonds, PB etc.. It might help you get closer to your 2lb/week goal.. Just a thought

Your saying add more EFA's basically correct?
Every 3 hours is correct.
I have added a serving of almonds at night along with the casein.
I could toss in a tbl spoon of PB into my 2 shakes in the day.
Im staying at 50% carbs 30% protein 20% fat at 4100 calories.

heres what i suggest
a 40/40/20 macro break up P/C/F in %'s
i'd also try to keep all meals equivalent.. and stuff your face every 2 hrs.
