I like taking in a protein shake with a meal, gives me an easy extra 120 cal or so per meal. I always have about 25-30g of lean protein per meal, so combined with whey gives me a total of 50-55g of pro per meal. Sometimes I'll add a tablespoon of natural PB to the shake for extra fat/calories if my macros allow for it. I figure the whey provides quick aminos while the rest of my meal is being digested and aminos can be pulled slowly from that afterwards. Thoughts?
