Total protein vs calorie total
Hey all,
I was talking with my w/o partner tonight and was telling him I'm having trouble taking in all the calories I need for bulking (just not used to eating so much) and he told me about a study that showed it's more important to get the protein in than just consuming 1000's of calories to reach some arbitrary number. In my case I need over 300g protein daily to reach 1.5g/lb LBM, and I haven't got close to that yet. I've copied a diet out of this month's M&F, and have printed out a few sample diets from this forum. I looked at weight gain shakes to augment, but damn, those are high in sugar - don't wanna go there as I have enuff fat on me now. How do you all manage to eat so much and what's your take on the importance of daily calorie totals?

An appetite is not necessary to eat... The clock tells me when to eat, not my stomach.
Split your day into 7 meals its much easier. Weight Gainer shakes are garbage in my opinion
