    Egg beaters in shakes...

I got sick of cooking my eggs and oatmeal and trying to scarf it all down so i put a cup of winn dixie egg beaters and 1 1/2 cups oatmeal in a blender with my normal shake mix for my breakfast.....

Blending these ingrediants won't affect the way they are absorbed right?

And if they eggs are pasterized, they can be consumed raw i'm hoping...?

    Thanks!

I know they can be consumed raw if they are pasterized. What i am not sure about is if the absorption of the protein is the same as when they are cooked. From what i hear, cooked eggs get the best absorption (100% supposedly) but again dont quote me on that.

I completely hear you, i am SOOO sick of making eggs in the morning now. I just mix a scoop of whey, about 3 servings of egg whites and a cup of oatmeal in the shake (tastes ten times better with why in there).

    You're good with that.

    Yes.

    I actually forego the blending.

When i use eggbeaters, I chug 'em straight from the carton.

    You're good to go.

i started combining the cooked oats with the scrambled eggs together. i added a few teaspoons of jelly and scarfed it down. it didnt last though, something about eggs and jelly didnt cut it. u can also try blending it all and making like pancakes with them. oats, eggs, cinnamon, skim milk, and spread pb or honey on them.

Damn Narki I chug raw eggs & milk every damn day but I just couldn't put down a carton of egg beaters. There was this nasty plastic taste to em that just made me gag. I am thinking about adding eggbeaters to my shakes.

^^Honestly as a competitive bodybuilder I only 'enjoy' re-feed days.

    Other days are necessity days.

Time constraints etc. require that i put down the nutrition and get on with my other activities.

    So.. I don't taste stuff.

I chug.. or chew.. and swallow.

    Digest..and move.

Used to be tough.. But i no longer think about it.

Too many meals to be put down each day to ponder tastes.

Shit.. I even drink tuna shakes man

2-3 cans of tuna in water or apple juice or diet coke... Blend.. Chug.
