How to:Any flavor of Oatmeal w/o extra calories

    what you will need:
    Oatmeal
    water
milk(i use light soymilk, 50cal per cup and only 2g of sugar)
tea bags of the flaver you want the oatmeal to be(peppermint is amazing)
    artificial sweetener
(optional) i use a percolator to make the tea but you can brew it however you like

first, brew the tea to whatever strength you like in the percolator

next, use 1-2Tbsp of milk per cup of tea and pour into bowl with oatmeal

microwave till oatmeal starts to rise and bubble

take out of microwave and add sweetener, addtional spices(cinnamin, hazelnut, SF syrups, SF jello mix to thicken)

stir and put back in microwave till oatmeal rises and bubbles again

take out and let sit for 4-5 minutes, this will allow it to cool and thicken

repeat with different tea flavors and such to see what you like

hope this helps break the monotony of eating oatmeal for some of you, i use it as 70-80% of the carbs in my day so i use this method alot

BTW, the leftover tea can be mixed with milk in the same ratio as used for the oatmeal and makes a delicious drink, or put it in the fridge and heat it up later for a sleep aid(milk releases serotonin in the brain which aids in sleep, and the warm liquid calms the stomach and soothes and relaxes the body)

    Happy Dieting

i did that too, and several variations of it, but i have been eating oatmeal 3-4x a day for a couple months now and even though it's not getting old now, in the next 5-6 months it will, so i'm trying to prepare myself for that early, plan ahead to get ahead
