Still affordable?
I pay 7.00$ a pound for my london broil.
I always cook my steak well done, I rather have it burnt than not cooked.
Another thing, I used it also for contest prep, worked great and I am still using it.

Go with medium rare, makes the steak so much more tender!

heat can damage the protein....but the difference in medium rare and well done is negligable and definitely splitting hairs....eat your steak how you like it.

I heard that the London Broil steak is the leanest & best for BB.
I found that the best way to cook anything is to cook it covered (usually in the oven but sometimes on the stovetop). There's reasons for this. If you grill lots of stuff, it can leave toxic hydrocarbons stuck to your meats...& if you ever get those burned black crusty spots on meats...that's carbon...not healthy. Cooking in a "dutch oven" like cast iron, makes an environment of moist, even heat, & it retains most of the vitamins, prevents the food from drying out. The meat finishes being very tender, fully & evenly cooked throughout, juicy, with the maximum amount of nutrition. I usually toss a bunch of veg in with my meat & sometimes I cook several meats together.

Rare to medium is the way to go, tastes so much nicer.
I tried blue steak but that is too extreme and horrible.

Christ that would be even worse.
Blue steak is where you get the steak, put it on your pan/grill/whatever for like, 10 seconds, flip over, cook for a further 10 seconds and serve. Its basically raw steak.
