chicken raw v. cooked weight
So if my diet calls for 175g of chicken 3x/day, its referring to the weight of the chicken pre-cooked, right?
I kinda just realized that it weighs different raw v. cooked
thanks yo

Rule of thumb is to use "precooked weight" whenever weighing food.

You can get stats on either way, raw or cooked.

Once cooked (to internal temp of 180 F) a quarter of the weight is lost. So, breast(s) weighing in at 8 oz raw will cook down to about 6 oz. This is what I have found to be after many years of cooking 12 lbs at a time. Hope this helps. Happy eating --and measuring.
