good fats @ night?
Are good fats (almonds, walnuts, Natural Peanut Butter) ok late at night?
I have a 50 g Casein Protein before bed and wanted to add some Peanut Butter if I can.
Thoughts?

i do ...i usually drink 1 casein protien shake, 1 tbs of peanut butter, and a homemade protien bar before bed which is made with peanute butter so ...you would be good adding in these fats to help you through out the night...IMO

try this, actually its my best meal of the day before bed;
3/4 cup FF cottage cheese
2 tablespoons ANPB
1 teaspoon cinnamon
mix them all in a plate and eat with a spoon. tastes like a cheese cake (no joke!)

thanx guys.
yeah i am a huge cottage cheese guy in the off-season. not in pool party season though - smooths me out.
i will have to try that one. i use a food processor and make all kinds of different things with cott cheese.
whips its up like pudding. i mix it with choc casiein for night time, and sugar free jello for day time. thats my sweet treat.

Depends on your goals but personally I have to stay lean all year round and would never consume Pennut Butter before bed. You would probably be better off with Flaxseed Oil before bed if you wanted to keep it a little leaner, but the Casien alone IMO would probably be fine as well it absorbs slow and steady.
