    Healthy college snacks

What's up guys, I'm going to grad school the end of august and it'll be my first time living on campus.. I want to keep my physique, but won't be able to eat what I do now (400 grams of protein per day) .. I'm wondering what healthy snacks you guys eat that i can take with me in my room and eat throughout the day when I'm not eating a healthy meal in the cafeteria or a shake.. thanks

Buy a small fridge for like 90 bucks. That's what my college trainee's do. If you use living in a dorm as an excuse not to eat correctly, that's your fault.

400g of protein per day? If that's you in your avatar, you don't need nearly that much protein , unless all you eat is pro/veg all day long.

Im getting a microfridge, but obviously can't cook a lot of things with just a microwave. Not allowed to bring george foreman grills..

Why do you believe I'm eating too much protein?

Because I'm 5'-8" 230ish contest condition and don't eat that much protein. You certainly don't look bigger then me. You look tall, and not carrying that much muscle on your frame to justify eating that much protein.

Oh, I appreciate the constructive criticism bro. Keep in mind i'm only 23 and I don't compete or anything so I'm satisfied with where i'm at. i guess it's better to overdo it than to not nutrition your body enough though.

You probably already have a blender and protein mix, so get some fruit, tuna, milk, peanut butter, powerbars. You have a microwave and you can't go wrong with scrambled eggs and oatmeal on occasion. Hell, i've even put chicken breasts and hamburger in microwave before.

yea powerbars aint that good.... either is tuna without mayo but u do what u gotta do rite? cans of tuna and powerbars have a long shelflife... so they are worth keeping around. dont let this change of location mess up ur diet and taste really means nothing. good luck in grad school!! cant wait 2 get there
