If you had to eat fast food, which in some cases might happen you can still eat healthy. Look into McDonalds Premium Grilled chicken sandwich. There are still fast food chains, though not the best of choices, that offer selections that are considered healthy. Just go to their website or when there go inside and look at the nutrition facts sense must chains now have them inside. Be smart!

I got stuck recently, and they had a Wendy's. Wendy's has one of those big triple decker hamburgers, and I think it has about 50 g of protein or so. I would just look for the source of the biggest amount of protein that you can get. Not all, but some sub shops tend to skimp on the meat. All the bread and buns & stuff is not important. I just go for the most meat I can get.

Same here... I used hit all the good places... Arby's, Wendy's, MacDonald's, Taco Bell and that would be all at once... I'd pick something from every menu... It's no wonder I used to be fat as hell!

Chik-fil-a has some kick ass grilled chicken sandwiches that come on a wheat bun. I get them plain and then add just a little low fat mayo and texas pete. For fast food this is the way to go!

Down here in Miami we are pretty lucky when it comes to fast food. We have Pollo tropical. Just go through the drive through and you can order a quarter chicken all white meat with veggies, and boiled Yuca. For those that dont know Yuca is a hispanic carb that most relates to a potato.
The best thing about this place is that it IS fast food but as healthy as eating at home and you only pay about $3.50 for the meal. There also seems to be one on every corner.
I have even bought a whole chicken with the big portion of the healthy sides. This way I can eat healthy for the whole day without cooking.
This is the only fast food restaurant I can think of where you can eat it everyday and still be lean and healthy.Last edited by kid dynamite; 09-25-2008 at 11:07 AM.

if you want to be a big baby, then you can just starve yourself & avoid all that "nasty" stuff. nobody is going to live forever anyway, so who cares if a triple decker burger has tons of fat and calories? in a survival situation, you eat anything, since you never know when you will eat again. too many people get anal about the calories and fat. if its just a one time thing, then there's nothing wrong with indulging in some fat and grease. it wont kill you just once. if someone gets to the point where they are paranoid at eating a triple decker burger just one time, then they need to log onto a psychiatric forum for mental help. you can't live forever. you're gonna die someday anyway, probably of heart disease or cancer, so why not live a little? plus, if you don't die from a heart attack from all the steroids , then you'll just end up with alzheimers & crapping in your own pants anway at some geriatric facility. seriously dudes...just eat the FN burger.

In desperate times ive been known to order two double cheese burgers.
We have Nandos in the UK and I would DEFINITELY NOT brand it a fast food chain! I'm pretty sure they grill everything. Nandos is also not cheap, well not compared to Fastfood outlets.

I saw an article on this in a bodybuilding magazine a while back. if you take off the top half of the bun, get no sauce and have a double beef patty some of the burgers aren't that bad. not good, but not absolutely terrible.
