    Vacation Diet

I'm gong to El Salvador for 11 days. How can I stick to my diet especially protein intake, there meat is not very good. Also I enjoy fish but very limited because I can't stand fishy taste. Protein shake and bars do very little in terms of staying full.

    Any ideas or suggestions.

Where are from? Are there any laws against taking food into El Salavador?

If not, beef jerky (if you don't mind the sodium) is not perishable or you could go with can meat (i.e. tuna, chicken)... Also peanut butter is an opton if you don't mind the fat. The fat should help with fulfilling your appetite, even if the rest of your protein has to come from a shake...

    Hope this helps...

Shakes don't really keep me full long. Any other ideas, don't really like canned chicken or tuna.

^^^Agreed. I don't like sweet potatoes and I'm sick to death of tuna and oats, But I still eat them every single day without a cheat for over a month. You just need to set your priorities and decide what is more important for you and go from there.

how true this is many people eat because obviously they like the taste we eat for the simple fact that our food choices promote muscle growth, if it tastes good well thats just a bonus. if it's an issue of not having your normal foods, just do cardio every morning and take a walk before your last meal.

in regard to the diet, just eat! eat a lot. it's so much better to eat than not eat in EVERY SINGLE CASE. so if you are really stuck, and don't want to, or can't bring appropriate food...just enjoy yourself and keep eating. it's 11 days man, if you are responsible it won't have much of an effect, if any.
