How do you Weight Your Chicken.

Ok so for about 500G of chicken (lean Chicken Breast No bone)
You get about 40 to 50 Grams of Protein.
Now My question is, do you guys weight it Cooked or Uncooked. Obviously cooked weights less. So I am weighting it uncooked.
I lose like half of the Grams when I cook it.
Whats the correct way to do it.

Food values are almost always arrived at using uncooked weight.

I found out I was really undereating before I started Weighting my Food. I mean 500grams of chicken is a lot of chicken! I used to be eating half of that and I thought I was eating the same amount.

yeah 500g is over a pound.. i really doubt it loses half its weight by being cooked.. maybe 25% or so but i don't weigh my food so idk...
