    Diet - work nights

    Hi bros

just after a bit of a hand, if anyone else works nights i'd be interested to know what you do

the thing is, i find it hard to plan my food, i have no set hours, sometimes start at 7pm work till 7am, sometimes 11pm-7am, so it all varies.

I generally get up around 2/3pm

    1) oats & whey
    2 ) protein shale
    3) pre workout meal 9oats+whey)
    4) post workout shake (whey + carbs, dext/maltro)

    5) chicken breast + veggies (broccoli/cauliflower)
    6) chicken breast + baked potatoe (at work)

i sometimes have a shake at work too, when I come home I generally have casein/cottage cheese before I sleep.

The question is, when would you have your last meal? I work till 5-7am , varies, I try to come home and sleep straight away due to the time, so I don't sit around for hours after like p[eople doing a 9-5 shift can

what kind of stuff do people take to work with them? we only have a microwave , so I am kind of limited

    any help appreciated

    cheers

Additional chicken breast would work while at work. I eat 2 large chicken breasts at work pretty much every day.

looks like too many shakes to me, get a load of tupperware boxes and prep all the meals before hand, e.g) diced chiken breast mixedf with 1 cup cooked rice, tuna with little sweet corn olive oil, sliced chicken in wheat wrap, gotta be creative, i work split shift system at work and have to do nights 1 in 4 weeks, i normally prep all food 1 day in advance and keep in fridge.

hey man, check out the thread Derek7m just posted. I posted that a couple weeks ago...but to help you out, what I do now is cook all my food for the day , when I cook my 1 actuall meal PWO. get up around 1, pre-shake(water), weights/cardio, then cook up 5-7 chicken tenderloins, a cup of rice, steamed broccoli, bananna..ect. Just plan out what you are going to eat ahead of time, prepare, and pack it all at once.

    thanks for the replies

can i ask though, what time do you guys have your last meal when working nights?

sounds stupid-but im not too sure when to have my last meal, as i finish 5-7am and then want to go straight to sleep, if working days people stay up for a few hours after etc

good call on the rice, could heat it up too,
