whats going on?
Stats: 72 kg (158,4 lb), 18%bf, 5,7ft.
So i started my cutting diet weeks ago. I find myslef i've lost sooome fat and quite some muscle. Note i have hard time gaing muscle.
Thing is...should i keep with the cutting diet, then once i'm lean (10-11%bf) do a clean bulk and hope muscle memory is not a scam? or Should i start lean bulking now and once i have more muscle start cutting?
In my diet i was hitting for 308g protein, 200g carbs, 100g fats. Going for about 2900cals/day.
Shut cardio to very moderate cardio 3 times a week and lift 4 times.
Something is not working...
Thing is i don't mind having higer bf IF i have plenty of muscle too.
But having lil muscle and fat is just ridic. I gotta sacrifice something?

I think that if it were me. (since for a while I had a similar circumstance) I would set your daily calories to just about 100 - 150 over maintenance level. Leave your cardio the same way it was while cutting.
For me, this was a very slow and very lean bulk.
I think that I would also move some of your calories from fats to good complex carbs.
