30 minute jog vs 40 minute jog ? Major difference?
I find running 30 minutes very easy, and 40 minutes brutal/boring. I don't know why. If I run 30 minutes 6 days a week in the morning on an empty stomach, will this help me lose some weight? (I will keep a close eye on my diet as well.)
Or is 30 minutes too little? Is >40 minutes necessary?

I keep putting on weight because of exams...I always let myself use exams as an excuse, argh. OK so this is it...I am going to put in one month of cardio and diet, and then start hitting the weights again no matter what.

30 min is okay, 40 is better.. u jog outside?? do you have a gym membership??? switch up your cardio, that keeps me from getting bored.. do some b-ball, boxing.. etc

Im upping my cardio to 45minutes, the more the better I guess. But I jog in the evenings as I work to early, you dont have to go AM...

I have a treadmill and a stair stepper in my bonus room with a nice flat screen tv mounted on the wall in front of them. Life saver for AM cardio!

is it a very light jog or a moderately hard jog? if its over 70% HR for 40 minutes id say your gnna lose some muscle!
