    Lightbulb A morning shake which tops all others

    HAHA

    well i dont know if it tops all others but i guess i was getting bored of eating 6 eggs every morning by themselves..considering i CANT stand the taste of them..and sauces werent helping

    so, in light of this, i decided to get creative

    This morning, i hard boilded my good ol 6 eggs, cracked the shell, took out the yokes, except 1, and now here comes the good part

    i threw em into a blender,
    added some 5% cream,
    some skim milk,
    a banana,
    some chocolate sauce,
    blended together, and came out with what tasted almost identical to a milkshake...plus the egg smell..

    well on first tasting notes, it had a messed up texture and funny smell...but after getting over the smell and the texture, it was quite enjoyable. and a very easy and healthy(for a person bulking) way to get in your morning eggs with some added protein and cals from other stuff

    noww....incase ur thinking about it... i havent tried throwing in my oatmeal, im not that psychotic

    You add skim milk.......... and cream... makes sense.


    That's a terrible shake dude, at terrible timing. I wouldn't do it unless you're just failing hard at gaining weight.

    Mate just go for some skim milk with lets say syntha and natrual pb (couple raw eggs if your keen) and some oats either in the shake or cooked on the side.

    But whatever floats your boat.

    After looking at what you put in it I think I know why it tasted identical to a milkshake.

    why do people always think you have to have breakfast food for breakfast?

    Sick of eggs and oats? Eat another protein source and complex carb source.

    There are things besides eggs and oats. And there are tons of carb sources that are slower burning than oats out there.

    ^^Great point, I have steak/sweet potatoes/Veggies for breakfast all the time when dieting.

    can't say, when cutting i take oats in the morning mostly because if i skip that, i don't get any during the day..

    the point of eggs in the morning is to replenish your amino acids levels quickly since you've been fasting all night.. eating a steak in the morning (which is something i also love to do) wouldn't be as benefitial as eggs would (so why not do both )

    If you're really sick of hard boiled, try soft boiled eggs. IMO they taste a helluva lot better.
