    Coconut oil

    Whats your take on this? Is coconut oil a sufficient, healthy and easy way to put in calories?

    regardless of the maco-nutrient breakdown,

    there are much better sources of fats for bodybuilders than coconut oil.

    well I'm not a bodybuilder but I do train hard for a sport. What would those products be then??

    bodybuilder or hockey player, sure.

    anything that converts to EPA/DHA:

    Walnut oil
    Almond oil
    Pecan oil
    Macadamia nut oil
    Olive oil
    avacado oil
    Fish oil

    run a search on here for EPA/DHA or similar terms. you'll get tons of hits.

    my fav are almonds and flax oil.. olive oil if im bulking for cooking

    flax is not the best choice.

    it is poor at converting to EPA/DHA

    well, thats true. but how much better off would i bewith say fish oil at night than i would flax oil? i mean is there a significant difference because if not im definately going to be sticking with the flax.

    did you not read the thread? I said twice already that flax is a poor choice, considering there are much better sources of EFA's available.

    the amount and times of day would vary on too many factors to give an answer.

    stick to EFA's to be supplemented with meals AFTER pwo with no complex startchy carbs

    when you cook with olive oil it alters it's structure and loses alot of it's goodness, lol

    yes and you know them, Chondricthys are cartilaginous fish(no bone, sharks fall into this category), Actinopterygii are bony fish(most fish you think of), and Sarcopterygii are almost extinct but the two left are lungfish and coelocanths
