why is it bad to miss a meal BUT GOOD to do cardio on empty stomach?
Not that long ago i would miss a meal or 2 here and there and i read that it bad to do, especially when you are cutting or bulking. How is doing cardio on empty stomach ok then? I have noticed when i missed my meals i would lose weight but very little fat. When i got my meals on track i have noticed a huge differece in fat buring

if you miss a meal then you don't have a good constant flow of aminos, your metabolism slows can, and your body begans to prepare for starvation. this means that when you eat the next time your body will want to store more than use more. (or it could do this, not will do this)
so eating on schedule keeps good amino flow, keeps the metabolism higher, and you stay in build mode vs store mode.
light cardio on an empty stomache helps to burn fat as long as you don't get to high of a heart rate, then your body may eat protien instead, as it's easier to break down than fat. if you eat before cardio then you may use the dietary substances for energy instead of stored fat. also when you work out less blood and concentration goes to the digestive system causing the food to "sit there".
i think these are the main reasons. i'm sure someone here can explain it better than i can though.

your body is like a machine, you dont want to wait till its empty to refeed it, otherwise it could break down.
Ideally you dont want to miss a meal, but hey sometimes you cant help it due to work, or certain situations in your lifestyle, does it mean oh shit its the end of the world, hell no.
But trying stay consitent is good for your metabolism and for fuel.
but if you miss a meal dont stress too hard or think thats it you lost all your muscles hehehe.

Ha yeah i hear you guys..I was just like ok everyone says to do cardio on empty stomach to burn more fat, but when i started my diet thread and i said something about missing a meal here and there at work alot of people said its a bad thing. I was almost thinking about giving my self a 4 hour break betweem ONE meal at work and use that as cardio on empty stomach because i WALK ALOT at my work. I wasnt going to do it everyday but a day or 2...what do you think?

if you go longer than 3 hours without food, you are sending signals to your body to go into starvation..

What is i do just 10-20 grams of only protein as one meal, so my stomach wont be fully empty ? would that work?

the idea is to be depleted as much as possible for cardio if you are trying to loose fat. it's ok to be "empty" if you keep your heart rate in check and don't let it get too high. so i would say no on the protien.

I use to do cardio with nothing besides eca stack and Acetyl L-carnitine and L-Arginine.
Now when I do it, its the same.
I wake up and have 2 scoops of whey 5g BCAA 5-10g L-Glutamine pre cardio.
I did use the cardio for my show prep and did get ri pped up but I feel at the same time I lost some muscle and yes I was doing low intensity

Rather have my body have some immediate protein after waking up and also if protein would be eatin up they whey is there.
I did low intensity for 60 mins.
I avoid fats until I get home, don't need it slowing down my absorbin
