C-Bino,
I certainly didn't mean any disrespect by it. I referenced Eatrainrest and Jamy because they had helped me to create the diet in the first place. I would certainly appreciate your feedback, and anyone else who can supply helpful knowledge as I am a total novice who is really trying to get rid of this huge gut and get into shape. I would truly like to start actually bodybuilding and not just "lifting" as I want to be educated about the process and make sure I am working towards the proper growth in the correct way. Your insight would be greatly appreciated and I hope you will take the time to direct me. If you have any insight on what you think would be a good work out for someone in my situation (slingshot, 5x5, etc...) I am all ears as I am fumbling through a lot of it trying to find what fits me and works best. Nothing so far has seemed appropriate. Thank you all for your time.

Apologies Bino. I am glad you weren't offended. I know I may come across as hyper responsive but as I am sure you know, sometimes in these forums it is easy to tick someone off with absolutely no intention to do so. Thanks for your understanding.
Now...
Can someone please tell me what the hell I should do now? lol
I have been on this diet for 4 weeks now and I just want to check in and see if I need to change it up or just carry on. Thanks everyone for the help and feedback.

that's a hell of a lot of carbs post workout. Pls don't take offense, but at 29% I doubt you could tax your body enough to need 72 g of carb post workout. Cut that in about half and you'll be on the right track. Most people i know gave up on the waxy maize/dextrose/malto shit and just stick with oats post workout. Your blood sugar won't crash that way. Other than that....looks a little high in carbs to me, but I have a low tolerance/fear of carbs, some objective advice in that realm would be good

No argument here. I am a fat ass. The carbs were requested by a person helping me to sculpt the diet because they said I needed a complex carb after my PWO shake. I'd love additional insight as I am usually on the same wavelength thinking carbs are bad but I also realize I know jack shit about muscle building so I am deferring to the forum for guidance. You suggest taking out the Yam and using Oats instead of Waxy maize?

So should I consider keeping the Oats in the morning and cutting the Carbs from my PWO shake and then I'd be good to go?

well i dont see the reason why you should elminate oats from the AM because you will need carbs preworkout. what im saying is to eliminate the PWO shake entirely, and just eat a protein/carb fulfilled meal when you get home. this way you will take advantage of losing extra fat kcals and if its within 2 hours it should not have a negative effect on muscle tissue. in the event you start to lose too much muscle i would just simply start taking the shake again. but if your goal is to cut, give it a shot

Thanks for the tip. Is the cottage cheese and yam meal a good pro/carb meal or should I alter it in some way? Thanks!
