    Keto & Cardio

OK alot of people say to do low intensity cardio (110-130 bpm) first thing in the morning while on the ketogenic diet.

I want to know if there would be a big difference if i was to do this lets say after breakfast or at night.

Cardio is done first thing in the morning because of the glycogen depleted state but with keto there would be no glycogen in the body to be depleted.

I don't like getting up an hour early and first thing in the morning doing cardio - i like to wake up and eat.

    Comments appreciated.

I think you are on the right track. As i understand it, it becomes less important to perform fasted cardio as you cut back the carbs. At zero carb all cardio essentially becomes fasted as you are using fat stores to produce energy. I'd like to hear other takes on this as well

im not sure on this but i would figure since you are either using fat or carbs as energy sources, it would not make a difference because fat will be your energy source instead of carbs so you could be fat depeleted?? maybe C-bino will find this

to my understanding actual ketosis is when your blood has an abundance of ketone bodies. these acids cause your body to eat your fat for fuel. i have read that when this happens and your are "in ketosis" you can actuallly pass dietary fat and continue to consume body fat.
IF THIS IS TRUE then i see no need to wait till morning time for cardio.
if it's not true then the obvious advantage would be absolute minimal dietary fat.

as stated above, maybe someone that knows for sure can dime in.

You could also do low intensity cardio before weights?
