Just wasted 4 months
Ok when working out my caloric intake 4 months ago when i started diet & training i calculated calories for fat loss and it came to 2500cal. This was not the method where you take into account bf%.
So for the past 4 months i've been working my ass off religiously eating 2500cal, cardio, weights, and for all this work lost 3-4kgs.
Yesterday i used the method where you take into account bf% which i gestimate at 25%. The number for fat loss came to 2000cal.
So for 4 months i've been sitting at maintainence - not gaining and and the several kgs was probably from eating healthier.
I should have been smarter and dropped cals alot earlier but i was scared i would be eating too little.
I put this post up so anyone who is starting a diet to use the bf% method as you could be wasting alot off had work. There are guys on here who can estimate your bf% if you post a picture up and if your too self conscious about it there are some that will let you pm them your pic.
Don't make the same mistake i did.

at least you realized that if you cut too many cals you would go into starvation mode and lose a lot of muscle, congrats on that..
also congrats on your fat loss, and i can assure you it was all fat and not muscle so good for you..
now get your eating plan down, don't skip the fats and keep at it..The answer to your every question

At least you're getting to know what works for your body, that's half of the battle. It's always better to loose weight slowly as to not burn any hard earned muscle. I was stuck at the same weight for about 2 months then started carb cycling (3 day) and the weight is melting off, almost too fast.
