Ever Noticed?
I have done spot checks for two months at all different times of the day and there is on average 5x more people in the supplement section than in the diet section at all times. Things that make you go hmmmm...

well the name is steroid .com for a reason.
you would assume most people coming on here aren't looking for diet advice; rather, artificial, or synthetic, means of cutting / bulking.

It's a good point FireGuy1 but think about it this way - not everybody in life wants to work for anything. It's obvious even apart from the world of weight lifting and body building - people will always try to take the easy way out.
No matter how many times you relate the pro's/con's involved with different aspects of the gym, they will always choose the HERE & NOW rather than how it will effect them later on down the road.

I believe there is a lot of hype about diet supplements on TV and internet . Those individuals make money on the expectation on good fast results . How would they make money if was as simple as good nutritional education ?
The faster you drop weight through crash diets and drug supplements the faster you gain it back IMO

you know fire when i first came to the diet section it took someone 4 days and like 5 bumps to get a response....
we've come a long way.. i know iv put countless hours into this section as have you phate, nark, nova, eat, and rugger (he's not around anymore)..
i recall not to long ago i started a thread in the q and a section protesting the fact that we all tell n00bs that they need to work on their diet and then leave them high and dry on the matter...
i came here so that i turn no individual down as long as he/she isn't some punk ass troll..
we've make progress, thankfully....
but if you guys feel strongly about it, get your asses in the other section and promot the diet section.. let people know how important dieting is to their goals..
that's why i have my motto
80% diet
15% training
5% gear

This is ALL because MOST humans want the cookie cutter McDonald's Drive thru solution instead of how most of US do things
They think the answer is in some bottle that they can just pop a pill and get results without actual dedication to the entire cause....
some will learn the way, some won't , not much we can do but what we do best here and thats just tell them like it is.
The cream will float to the top and listen, learn and change their lifestyle, the others will continue to try to take the shortcuts and get mediocre results
Thats why WE stand out in the crowd and people look at us in AWE of our achievements and dedication .....and their first response when they ask us HOW we do it and we tell them DIET, they say....OH i can't eat like that..... I don't have time to eat 6 meals a day..... and we look and say, OK, well then you can't have a body like US !!!

but what is the best weight loss product!???...lol jk. the diet thread here is great... you'll find the most important resources here to get you started... BMR, the importance of calculting macros, etc, etc. then the rest is up to the person to monitor their own progress and how they react to certain diets, macro percentages etc.etc.

I was annoyed with the same thing too Fire. I think I pissed off some sup wholesalers with all my food comments in the sup section.

It's all about evolution. I started in the Q&A and then worked my way to the suppliment section, got sidetracked by the lounge, and now that I'm a little more informed I spy on the Diet section. I look forward to the day that I know enough to help in this section.

But that's why this section is better bro. We dont get flooded with all the horse shit some of the other forums do.
I think the forum runs better when we have a good group of a dozen guys who help out not when you have a forum overrun with 5000 idiots who give random advice which is completely wrong and not enough of the good guys to correct all the BS advice.

I agree with all of the above but there are still some effective supplements that should not be overlooked eg. alpha gpc, cordyceps, galanthamine, huperzine A, creatine
