    Early morning training and Supplements

    Hi Guys

I train at 6:15am. I usually have a pre-workout shake consisting of Oatmeal, Whey (40g), 4 egg whites and a banana 40 minutes prior to training but I still feel bloated and "heavy" during weight training. I don't want to run out of energy while training. Any Suggestions?

Wait 1.5 hours after eating. Also, how much Oats are you consuming, and what are your stats?

I weight 80 kg (175 pounds) and BF% is sitting around 18%. I got some good diet advice from the diet forum but I'm battling with my pre workout shake. I drop kids at school etc. so I can't train any later. I only have 40 - 50 minutes before training in which I can consume a pre workout shake.

Is a 100g banana (22g) carb + 40g whey protein adequate pre training?
