Skim milk?
What do you guys think about drinking skim milk in your diet? I'm bad about mixing my whey protein with milk instead of using water. I'm afraid the milk may be keeping the fat on me that I want to get rid of. Any thoughts?

I can't say if the milking causing you to retain fat without seeing your full diet and training,
but I don't care for milk, personally.
it's a moderate protein source, with too much sugar.
besides after the pasteurization process all the enzymes and vitamins in it are negligible.
do a search, this has been discussed a ton on here.

I wouldn't advocate the use of Dairy in general for any diet.

milk is fine in a bulk IMHO, even a clean one
... but it's got no place in a cutter especially if you're carb restricting and all the carbs you DO take need to be useful, which lactose is not

Thanks for the input guys...think I'll try cutting out all dairy for a while to see how my body responds. I'm 5'11" and 188lbs. I just have this extra fat around my lower abdomen that I just can't seem to shake...even had it coming out of marine corps bootcamp in Parris Island. I was 23 yrs old then and now I'm 38...so losing this is really gonna be a challege...just would finally like to see my abs before I get to far over the hill. I eat every 2 hrs...trying to keep my protein at 1gm/lb of body weight per day while keeping my carbs and fat to a minimum.
