No fruit, few veggies, TONS OF MEAT! is it OK?

Currently I am on a bulk phase so, obviously, I've been eating a ton of meat. My question is, do I need to eat veggies also? Is there any benefit to them outside of good health. For instance, this is what I've been eating lately:

6am 8 egg whites, 2 full eggs, bowl of oatmeal
9am 6-8oz deli meat, spinach, string cheese
    11am chicken breast, broccoli
1pm 6-8oz deli meat, protein shake
3pm 2 cans Tuna (or chicken breast), handful of walnuts
PreWO 1 scoop protein, NO drink, handful of grapenuts
PostWO 2 1/2 scoop protein, Creatine
7pm-ish 8-10oz Steak (or chicken breast), broccoli, brown rice (or grapenuts)
9pm-ish 2 scoops protein, cottage cheese

As you can see, I'm not eating very many veggies and no fruit. Is this going to interfere with any potential gains? Is this going to be hard on my body? Is this diet even any good (it seems to be working...)?
    Thanks

Really? A cutting diet? I'm not doubting you, I'm just a little surprised. Any suggestions on additions? Some wheat thins or something?

they also have too much sodium and fat.

    oatmeal
    quinoa
    ezekiel products

How soon after your 3pm meal do you workout?

Here is an example of a diet I was on a while back, if it helps you:

    Meal 1 Upon Waking:
    2 Scoops Whey w/Skim

    Meal 2
    10 Egg Whites 10g glutamine
    3 Whole Eggs 5g BCAA
    1.5 cups oatmeal
    1 Banana or fresh Pineapple

    Meal 3
    8oz Steak or Chicken
    1oz Almonds

    Meal 4 Mon-Wed Thurs-Sat
    10oz Steak/Ground Beef 10oz Chicken
    10oz Yams/Sweet Pot 1 cup brown rice

    Meal 5 Post Workout:
    2 Scoops 100% Whey 10g glutamine
    1 Carb Drink 10g creatine
(Or 1 PWO drink) 10g BCAA

    Meal 6
    Same as meal #4

    Meal 7
    10oz Chicken or Tilapia
    1 cup Broccoli

    Meal 8 Before Bed:
2 Scoops Casein Protein 10g glutamine
    5g BCAA

I'll look into these. Thanks! (Are Ezekiel products Kosher?)

Well really, it looks like I'm pretty close. I just need to add a few things to some meals. Bigzrs01, our diets are very similar... Is the fruit in the morning beneficial or was it just preference? Any suggestion on a good carb shake, or just grab anything from GNC?

Also, I start working out at 4:30-5:00 depending on work.

A clean bulk and a healthy diet need efa in every meal and no carb only in the last meal. Veggies have almost no calories, but alot of useful nutrient for your health and for your lbm.

EFA in every meal - if there is carbs in this meal its debated that the insulin spike will store the fat straight into the body. have your efas by themself throughout the day (nuts) and in your last meal (pro/fat)

no cabrs only in the last meal? i will assume you ment carbs in every meal except the last. if your smart you will have oats yams etc

fiborous vegtables do have calories but it takes the body more calroies to digest them which creates negative calories. exceptions are carrots peas etc

i would worry more about vegetables when you cut and how to use them correctly BUT i have found that without fibre in the diet the plumbing becomes pretty clogged up. so have vegtables 1-2 times a day.
